Floyd Little finally made it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, where he has belonged for decades. He was one of the 10 best running backs who ever played the game.
Little's election to the Hall increases the total number of Broncos in the Hall by 50 percent. That's a sad total, considering how many Super Bowls the Broncos have been to compared to other teams who have more players in the Hall.
I didn't live in Colorado when Floyd Little played. In the days of the AFL, I lived in New Jersey and was a Jets fan. But I remember what a force Floyd Little was because we had to play against him. He's finally where he deserves to be.
Shannon Sharpe will probably get into the Hall next year, although it probably should have been this year. However, it's hard to argue with Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice.
